REV. ERIC DAVIS
Campus Minister
Eric Davis, a Starkville native, graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi College before pursuing his theological education at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. After graduating with a Masters of Divinity from ATS, Eric became the associate minister at Louisville United Methodist Church in 2015 and launched a contemporary worship service within a few months of arriving. In 2016, Eric began serving as the senior pastor at Memorial United Methodist Church in Bolton, MS. He also began teaching Bible at Hinds Community College, and launched the Wesley Campus Ministry on the Raymond Campus of Hinds CC. In 2018, he arrived at the University of Southern Mississippi Wesley Foundation as Executive Director. Eric is married to Christine Davis, the instructional design coordinator at Pearl River Community College eLearning, and together they have a four-year-old son and two-year-old girl.
KATHERINE BOONE
Internal Operations Specialist
Katherine moved to Hattiesburg in 2013 with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Addison. In 2016, they welcomed their son, Brett.
They can usually be seen at all USM sporting events.
Katherine has been the bookkeeper at R3SM since 2017 and started at USM Wesley in 2019. She is active in Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg and at Heritage United Methodist Church.
AMBER HOUSTON
Campus Minister
Amber Houston, Associate Director of Outreach and Women’s Ministry at USM Wesley and recent graduate of the Master of Counseling Psychology program at USM is originally from Greene County. She transferred from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to complete her undergraduate degree in psychology at USM. The summer after graduation, she came back to Christ and started walking out her faith. During her time in graduate school, she led an independent Bible study and organized various community outreach projects. It was then that she realized she had a passion for outreach and working with college students and young adults, and she felt called into campus ministry. While working with residents at Clearview during her internship, she also found she had a heart for working with women in particular.

Christine Davis grew up in Ocean Springs, MS and received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. After graduating, she taught in both the Winston and Chickasaw County public schools. She later earned a Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership and began working at Hinds Community College as an instructional designer. When Eric made the move to USM Wesley, Christine moved into the Instructional Design Coordinator position at Pearl River Community College, where she serves to this day. She also continues to live out her passion for teaching and mentoring students by serving as an online instructor at both USM and PRCC
